Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using ChefAiQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

Use of the Service constitutes your electronic consent under Republic Act No. 8792 (E-Commerce Act of 2000).

ChefAiQ provides recipe management, costing, pricing, and kitchen operations tools for culinary professionals, entrepreneurs, and business users.

We may update, improve, or discontinue any feature or functionality at any time to enhance service quality or comply with legal requirements.

To access certain features, you must create an account using accurate and current information. You agree to:

• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

ChefAiQ reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.

You retain full ownership of the recipes, data, and other content ("User Content") you upload to ChefAiQ.

By using the Service, you grant ChefAiQ a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.

You represent that your uploaded content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

You agree not to use ChefAiQ for any unlawful or prohibited activity, including but not limited to:

• Violating any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringing upon intellectual property rights.
• Uploading viruses, malware, or malicious code.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or user accounts.
• Using the Service to collect or process personal data without consent.

ChefAiQ reserves the right to investigate and suspend accounts engaged in abusive or illegal conduct.

ChefAiQ may offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• No partial refunds will be issued for unused time or mid-term cancellations.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' prior notice via email or platform notice.

All payments are processed securely through accredited third-party payment gateways compliant with Philippine regulations and data protection laws.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms or applicable laws,
• Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or disruptive behavior, or
• Interfere with other users' experience or system integrity.

Upon termination, your right to use ChefAiQ immediately ceases. You may request deletion or export of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

ChefAiQ makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Continuous or error-free operation,
• Accuracy of recipe costing or pricing calculations, or
• Fitness of the Service for any specific purpose.

You acknowledge that recipe and business computations are estimates only and that ChefAiQ shall not be liable for business decisions based on such results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChefAiQ, its affiliates, and its personnel shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages,
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data, or
• Any claim arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the Service.

In all cases, ChefAiQ's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and software associated with ChefAiQ are owned or licensed by us and protected under Philippine intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our written consent.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved through amicable settlement or mediation. If unresolved, it shall be submitted to the proper courts of Quezon City, Metro Manila, to the exclusion of other venues.

We may modify or update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or system notice at least 15 days before effectivity.

Continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
